Khun Saraan spent most of his life in northern Thailand, where he honed his skills as a teak and rain tree wood craftsman. As the demand for his work grew, he made the decision to move to Bangkok and pursue his handicraft business full-time. Since then, he has been creating and selling high-quality handmade crafts. Khun Saraan specializes in intricate relief carvings, often featuring classic Thai themes such as Buddha, elephants, and lotus blossoms. Now nearly 80 years old, he is regarded as one of the most influential woodworking artisans in Thailand.
