Evoynne and Sheila are two young and charismatic sisters who love jewelry and fashion. The two sisters grew up in a small coastal town in the northern region of Cebu Island. Spending their childhood days near the ocean exposed them to an abundance of native marine life. At a very early age, the sisters were gained an appreciation of the natural beauty of the sea and the beach. They were able to see first-hand the unique shells, pearls, wood, beads and coral scattered across the sands.
Growing up, Evoynne and Sheila’s parents encouraged them to value education, and eventually were able to pursue their studies at University in Cebu. After graduation and some years working at various jobs, the two sisters became convinced that their calling was to combine their appreciation of fashion with their love of the sea and beach. Evoynne and Sheila began designing and producing handmade jewelry that focused on using native and beachy material such as wood, shells, stone, and horn. After some time, Evoynne and Sheila were able to recruit family and friends to help craft the jewelry and grow the business. Being able to provide for income for their parents, family, and friends brought great joy and pride to the sisters.
With business growing slowly in the country side, the two sisters decided to take their products and venture to the larger markets in the heart of Cebu City. In the Cebu, they were able to open small shops in outdoor markets as well as in the larger malls. Evoynne and Sheila are two of the youngest jewelry designers and producers around but they truly enjoy bringing beautiful and unique jewelry to the markets. In doing so, they are able to earn a living for their family and friends.
